2022 World Clean Energy Conference taps ICLEI Southeast Asia as partner for Indonesia run

Over 30% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions come from the energy sector. It is therefore paramount that the public and private sectors are aware of, supportive of, and capacitated in efforts on clean energy initiatives, combating the energy crisis, and accelerating energy transition towards net zero. This transition to renewable energy is also key towards developing greener and more sustainable cities.

The two-day 2022 World Clean Energy Conference in Indonesia aims to gather energy sector stakeholders and present the clean energy technologies, policies, and best practices that are currently transforming Indonesia’s energy landscape. Co-presented by the Global Zero Carbon Partnership and ESCOM Events, the conference is slated for December 1-2, 2022, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, at the Ayana Midplaza Hotel – Jakarta.

Over 400 high-level decision makers from government bodies, energy companies, project owners, investors, contractors, and solution providers are expected to attend the conference.

Key event topics include the Indonesia Energy Sector Net Zero Roadmap; Clean Energy Investment & Financing; Solar Tech & Storage; Wind, Hydro and other renewables; Modernizing Indonesia’s Electricity Grids; Digital Connected Energy Network; and Electric Vehicles & Charging Infrastructure.

Solutions providers will also hold a small-scale exhibition and solutions showcase.

ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability Southeast Asia serves as one of the event partners.
