UNDRR releases online Disaster Resilience Scorecard for cities

The UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) has launched the online version of the Disaster Resilience Scorecard for Cities last 23 May 2022 at the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Bali, Indonesia.

Based on the Ten Essentials for Making Cities Resilient framework, the Scorecard is a diagnostic tool that supports a city’s disaster risk reduction and resilience planning. It also helps cities review progress and hurdles in the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction: 2015-2030.

More than 600 local governments throughout the world have used the Scorecard to establish their baseline, enable multi-stakeholder dialogues, and take actions to reduce their disaster and climate vulnerabilities.

The online Scorecard is free for use by any local government. For any inquires or interest to use the Online Scorecard for training, please contact undrr-incheon@un.org or mcr2030-global@un.org.
