The Asia LEDS Partnership (ALP) is currently organizing a peer learning session on its Emission Reduction Tool developed for the Mongolia Trade and Development Bank with the support from the Mongolian Ministry of Environment.

The session will present the spreadsheet-based tool which was developed for easy tracking of the project baselines and assess potential energy/emission reduction of projects funded through the Green Loan Program of the Bank. The said program finances projects which can save at least 20 percent of energy or carbon emissions.

It is hoped that the tool can lay the foundation towards a more broadly applicable tool that can be used by all commercial banks.

The upcoming peer learning session is targeted towards banks and other loan agencies across the Asia-Pacific that support green projects. It will be held on 14 February 2022 at 09:00-10:30 IST; 10:30-12:00 (Bangkok); and 11:30-13:00 (Mongolia).
