KASpaces to hold Regional Forum on Sustainable Cities and Resilient Communities on 16-18 November

ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability South Asia, ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability South East Asia, and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Singapore are jointly organizing the KASpaces Regional Webinar on Sustainable Cities and Resilient Communities from 16-18 November 2021 between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m (Bangkok time).

This regional forum will also present the findings and key learnings from the 10 successful KASpaces country-level webinars on Sustainable Cities across Southeast Asia and South Asia held from July to September 2021.

This regional forum will bring together participants and partners of the national webinars from various countries in the region to share experiences and good practices used to face the challenges of today to ensure sustainable and resilient cities and human settlements. The webinar will focus on sustainable solutions of urban development, including issues on internal migration, climate resilience, solid waste management, wastewater management, and sustainable transport with a link to Goal 11 of the Sustainable Development Goals and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinar will include representatives of the national and subnational governments, civil society organizations, and private sector working on innovative solutions for urban development across the region to discuss how they could work together to reinforce synergies in providing safe, inclusive, and sustainable cities.

Certificates will be provided to participants who have attended all 3 days of the webinar for at least 2 hours each day.
