Data governance plays a key role in ensuring that high-quality and disaggregated data and information are available for various policy, program, and development needs. Currently, the Government of Indonesia is continuing the inter-sector data integration, not limited to spatial data through the national geospatial information network (Presidential Regulation 27/2014), but also other development data through one data policy (Presidential Regulation 39/2019). Linkages and data sharing mechanisms between data users and providers can be developed systematically and continuously. This policy brief is a short manuscript that presents proposed recommendations from the results of the analysis of four (4) thematic topics discussed during the Urban Development Data Governance webinar series. Moreover, it is an advocacy material to relevant policy makers at both the national and local levels.
