To nominate yourself or an inspiring woman leader in DRR, please complete the nomination form here: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/q7DqeWLW69\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong>https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/q7DqeWLW69<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"1119\">Organized under the <strong data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"701\">Women&#8217;s International Network for Disaster Risk Reduction (WIN DRR)<\/strong>\u2014the flagship women&#8217;s leadership initiative of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), supported by the Australian Government\u2014these awards shine a spotlight on the dedication, impact, and leadership of women working to reduce disaster risks in the region. WIN DRR is a professional network open to all, aiming to promote gender equality and elevate women\u2019s leadership in disaster risk reduction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1141\"><strong>About the Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1367\">The 2025 WIN DRR Leadership Awards will be presented during the <strong data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1269\">International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction celebrations<\/strong> in Asia-Pacific this coming <strong data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1314\">October 2025<\/strong>. This year, two individual awards will be conferred:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1822\">\n<li data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1597\">\n<p data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1597\"><strong data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1400\">WIN DRR Rising Star Award<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0<em data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1413\">US$7,500<\/em><br data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1416\" \/> Recognizing early-career commitment to DRR, this award will go to a woman who has shown strong leadership potential and dedication to pursuing a career in disaster risk reduction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1822\">\n<p data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1822\"><strong data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1629\">WIN DRR Excellence Award<\/strong> \u2013 <em data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1643\">US$10,000<\/em><br data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1646\" \/> Proudly supported by <strong data-start=\"1669\" data-end=\"1695\">SM Prime Holdings Inc.<\/strong>, this award celebrates a woman who has achieved outstanding professional success and demonstrated exemplary leadership in DRR.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1824\" data-end=\"1849\"><strong>Who Can Be Nominated?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"2170\">\n<li data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"1968\">\n<p data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"1968\">Nominees must identify as women and be citizens or permanent residents of countries in the <strong data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"1967\">Asia-Pacific region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2031\">\n<p data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2031\">They must be actively engaged in DRR work within the region.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2032\" data-end=\"2080\">\n<p data-start=\"2034\" data-end=\"2080\">Individuals may nominate themselves or others.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2081\" data-end=\"2170\">\n<p data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2170\">Nominations are welcome from across the WIN DRR network and the broader DRR community.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2172\" data-end=\"2534\">Please note that individuals currently or previously employed by <strong data-start=\"2239\" data-end=\"2248\">UNDRR<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2260\">DFAT<\/strong> are <strong data-start=\"2265\" data-end=\"2281\">not eligible<\/strong> to be nominated but may submit nominations.
