The Asia LEDS Partnership (ALP) is currently organizing a peer learning session on\u00a0its Emission Reduction Tool\u00a0developed for the Mongolia Trade and Development Bank with the support from the Mongolian Ministry of Environment.<\/p>\n
The session will present the spreadsheet-based tool which was developed for easy tracking of the project baselines and assess potential energy\/emission reduction of projects funded through the Green Loan Program of the Bank. The said program\u00a0finances projects which can save at least 20 percent of energy or carbon emissions.<\/p>\n
It is hoped that the tool can lay the foundation towards a more broadly applicable tool that can be used by all commercial banks.<\/p>\n
The upcoming peer learning session\u00a0is targeted towards banks and other loan agencies across the Asia-Pacific that support green projects. It will be held on\u00a014 February 2022 at 09:00-10:30 IST; 10:30-12:00 (Bangkok); and 11:30-13:00 (Mongolia).<\/p>\n
