The following activities shall be undertaken:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>A. Preparation and training<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Assist the ICLEI Project Officer with consultation to the Jambi City Coordinator (Environment Agency) to finalize:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">the identified distribution of sampling locations;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">the proposed sampling schedule;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">the identified survey tools and materials, as well as other necessary resources needed;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">administration procedure of laboratory analysis with the selected laboratory; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">the draft questionnaire survey.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><b><i>Kindly see Annex A in the Terms of Reference hyperlinked at the end of the posting for details.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Participate in WACS methodology training and orientation together with the Jambi City Coordinator that will be delivered by ICLEI Project Officer.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>B.\u00a0<b>Conduct of on-ground WACS of municipal solid wastes and plastic wastes <\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Carry out interviews by using questionnaire surveys with key actors from each identified distribution of sampling locations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Quantify and characterize wastes from each identified distribution by type that are inline with the WACS methodology within 7 days in a row for each sampling location.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Collect and send waste samples to be forwarded to the selected laboratory for chemical analysis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Secure results of laboratory analysis.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>C. Data processing and analysis<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Consolidate and conduct post-processing of data<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">Submit report containing results and analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>DELIVERABLES AND TIME FRAME<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Kindly see the Terms of Reference hyperlinked at the end of the posting for the deliverables and indicative delivery timeframe.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">At least a bachelor\u2019s degree in environmental science\/management\/technique, urban and regional planning, or other relevant degrees. Master\u2019s degree or further studies on environment, waste management, urban planning or sustainable development would be an advantage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333333;\">A minimum 1 year of work experience or research related to waste management.
