{"id":4655,"date":"2019-05-27T15:51:47","date_gmt":"2019-05-27T15:51:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icleiseas.org\/?p=4655"},"modified":"2019-05-27T15:51:47","modified_gmt":"2019-05-27T15:51:47","slug":"job-vacancy-local-government-associate-hanoi-vietnam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icleiseas.org\/index.php\/2019\/05\/27\/job-vacancy-local-government-associate-hanoi-vietnam\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy: Local Government Associate (Hanoi, Vietnam)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a Local Government Associate to support the implementation of the Ambitious City Promises in Hanoi, Vietnam.<\/p>\n<h4>General Functions:<\/h4>\n<p><em>Project Coordination and Support<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in setting up meeting schedules with participating cities, national government agencies, and other partners as the need arises.<\/li>\n<li>Provide periodic update\/s on the progress of Hanoi\u2019s pilot projects and formulation of Promise of Hanoi in coordination with the Country Liaison Officer<\/li>\n<li>Assist in mobilizing city representatives during relevant national project activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Technical Inputs and Support to Project Outputs <\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the implementation of Hanoi\u2019s pilot projects including but not limited to preparation of procurement-related documents, Terms of Reference, among others.<\/li>\n<li>Support in formulation\/review of the draft Promise of Hanoi by providing technical inputs on feasible low emission development measures in close cooperation with the Hanoi DONRE and Country Liaison Officer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>Data Collection, Encoding, and Management<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain a database of collected data and information in relation to the public hearing\/s, pilot project\/s, formulation of City Promise in Hanoi.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct an analysis of the data collected and provide recommendations where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the project team in translation of project\u2013related documents as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>Others<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Other related tasks as assigned from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications<\/h4>\n<p><em>Education<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least a Bachelor\u2019s degree in environmental science\/ management, urban and regional planning, development studies, communication, community development, urban economics or other relevant degrees; or a combination of relevant education and experience.
