This can include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"font_8 color_15\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Managing\u00a0and coordinating\u00a0production, editing, and dissemination of\u00a0communication materials\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Supporting efforts to improve RRC.AP&#8217;s\u00a0outreach and digital presence by\u00a0developing high quality web content in RRC.AP\u2019s webpage and social media accounts<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Assisting staff during\u00a0planning and implementation\u00a0of training programmes, conferences, workshops, and\u00a0webinars<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Representing RRC.AP\u00a0in conferences and\u00a0exhibits<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Compiling information and improving internal knowledge management systems<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Liaising\u00a0with partners to develop joint knowledge sharing products or events\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Exploring\u00a0new funding and partnership opportunities\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Drafting grants and funding proposals on climate related topics<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Please note that the above list of responsibilities is indicative and the selected candidate may be asked to work in other areas if needed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><strong><span class=\"color_15\">Required Qualifications and Experience:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"font_8 color_15\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Bachelor\u2019s degree or Masters (completed or in progress) in communications, journalism, public relations, international development, environmental sciences, social sciences, or related fields<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Demonstrable experience performing communication\u00a0tasks (managing a\u00a0website, using social media tools and channels, targeting and developing content for diverse audiences, event planning, liaising with stakeholders, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Excellent command of English<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Basic knowledge and understanding of climate change and sustainable development issues<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><strong>Preferred Skills and<\/strong> <strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"font_7\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Familiarity with media channels used to disseminate\u00a0information on international development, climate change, and sustainable development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Ability to\u00a0use\u00a0photo editing and graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop) and design appealing visual products<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Ability to problem-solve, multi-task,\u00a0and\u00a0be proactive under limited\u00a0supervision<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Passion and interest for\u00a0climate change and\u00a0sustainable development topics<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, ideally with experience working or studying in a multi-disciplinary and\u00a0multi-cultural environment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"font_7\">To apply, visit:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/2HcCmOg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/2HcCmOg<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">For more information, visit:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rrcap.ait.asia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">http:\/\/www.rrcap.ait.asia\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RRC.AP) at the Asian Institute of Technology is recruiting an intern to support\u00a0its Climate Change Cluster on\u00a0communications, knowledge management, and outreach work.\u00a0 Location: Asian Institute of Technology, Pathumthani,\u00a0Thailand Deadline to apply:\u00a0May 11\u00a02018 Start date:\u00a0As soon as possible Expected duration:\u00a03 &#8211;
